Product image missing in Woocommerce

I understand that for new products the uploaded product images are not showing up on the product page.

Can you please share some additional details?

Can you please confirm if the image is showing on the product edit page or if it never gets added there as well?

If the image doesn’t get added to the product’s edit page, please check if you see any JavaScript errors on that page. You can check for JavaScript errors with your browser of choice by following the steps outlined here.

Depending on what we find in the items above we might request additional troubleshooting steps/details OR redirect you to a more appropriate support platform but let’s cross that bridge when we get there.

I can see the image is shown in the front end but it is not displayed on the backend “Edit Product” page.

Just to rule out the possibility of browser issues, have you tried using a different browser and checking the same?

Sorry to hear that you’re still facing this issue.

This is indeed a weird issue and very much seems like happening due to a conflict by a conflict as you already tried with a different browser.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation of how to do a conflict test here.

I’d recommend creating a staging site for investigating the issue. If your host doesn’t offer that option, you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.
