Product image and WebP

  • Hi,

    We are offering our ShortPixel Image Optimization plugin users the possibility of using WebP images on Chrome by replacing the tags with a <picture> tag (by the means of a filter on the_content).
    Unfortunately this is not working for the woocommerce product main images, as they are referred in the content as data- attributes and only in Javascript created as ‘s. Do you have any idea or solution on how we should work out a way to offer also our WooCommerce users this option?
