product-ids not included in feed for ID

    Hi there,

    I am trying to use the product_ids woocommerce variable to populate ID field so that the Google product ID matches the product ID Google tag manager sends to Adwords for re-marketing purposes.

    But for some reason when I use this variable, the g:id field is missing from the generated feed.

    Is this the correct variable to use woocommerce product ID value for all variations?

    If I use post ID or SKU variable, then it seems to work fine, but those wont match to my GTM tag product ID’s?

    What are your Google tag manager settings?
    What product id’s are given to the tag manager?

    Hi Auke,

    Here is an example URL to check if required.

    Tag manager is using the standard woocommerce product ID value which means the feed needs to pass the product ID to merchant center. ecomm_prodid: “2554” for the example above.

    I have worked around the problem by converting all SKU’s to the product ID with a plugin (and it is successfully validating remarketing in tag assistant) however Woocommerce Google Feed Manager is not able to populate the feed with the “product_ids” variable itself when selecting it on the feed creation page (Is this even the right variable? Why is it plural?)

    If i do this then the g:id field doesn’t appear in the xml at all, its missing. So currently I can only use SKU with the plugin, to map to Google ID.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Otherwise everything works well and thank you for a great plugin ??

    I have problem with ID of products.
    When I send link to Google I get information that ID is wrong.
    Google shows ID “6” for all products.

    What “input” have you selected for the id? SKU or something else?

    I selected “SKU”

    And your products do have SKU’s assigned to them and they are unique?

    You could also try to select the Post ID as source and check if that solves the issue.
