Product Filter on Archive Page sends me to shop page

Hi

I’m in the process of building our online store and was looking for a decent product filter.

We’re going to use the filter on the product archive pages (categories). However for some reasons the filter once confirmed sends me back to the Shop page where it does filter the products shown on the shop page – but I do want the user to stay on the selected category page.

The page is using Generatepress theme and Elementor. Our caching plugin is currently disabled.

A good test case is to filter by the colour red and then press the button Filter. This sends you back to the shop page (https://archerypark.nz/shop/) where it filters some of the shown products in the middle and end of the page. It should stay on the category though.

Any help would be appreciated! If we can get this to work, we will look into the paid version as we don;t want to show empty categories.
