Product Fields rules not working right

I’m working on an e-commerce site and am using your plugin to add a text box where they can enter a name they want put on a piece of clothing. I am having trouble with the rules part because when I select the dropdown to go to products it still only displays the product categories. I tried to get around this by setting up a product tag, it looks good when i set it up but when I click to update it switches back to product category instead of the product tag I had chosen. It still displays that it’s looking for a product tag, but instead of saying the product tag it’s not chosen all categories.
In the beginning this was working perfectly fine. I am unsure when it stopped working as I am not the one who enters the products. I have gone through the normal troubleshooting steps for this. I removed the plugins except for it and it still had the problem. I removed it and tried some previous versions and also tried a fresh install of the latest version and still have the problems. I removed the data I had in there and entered it all again and am having the same issues.
