Product Feed Pro – Pinterest Google Category

    Hello, We are using the Pinterest feed and having problems getting the Google Product Category to upload successfully into Pinterest. Within FIELD MAPPING, the last PINTEREST ATTRIBUTE is g:google_product_category. In VALUE, when I enter ‘Google’ there is a choice ‘Google category (for rules and filters only). Where does this pull the category from? Or are we supposed to make a CUSTOM ATTRIBUTE and manually enter in the correct Google_product_category for each item in WC?

    Hi @coffeeandbibletime ,

    I’m not quite following your question. Can you provide more information on what you mean by pinterest attribute?

    Also Pinterest doesn’t use google_product_category. You can find their attributes here: Get started with retail catalogs | Pinterest Business help

    Hi, thank you for trying to help!! All of our items were getting Pinterest warning #157 which says “Some google_product_category values are missing, which may limit visibility in recommendations, search results and shopping experiences”

    I think I fixed it by adding the google_product_category to the Pinterest tab of WC Product Data. That seemed to fix the error.
