Product feed directory writabl False

    Hi. I’ve recently installed the plugin on a clean wordpress install and I am getting this message on the page that does the checks:
    Product feed directory writable False

    How or where do I fix that. I have already tried disabling and re-enabling as well as uninstalling and re-installing it as suggested. Nothing worked.

  • Hi cath88,

    This message could mean two things:

    1. The directory isn’t even there yet. Creating a product feed would possibly solve the issue as it creates the needed directories when they are not there;
    2. The directories are there but on server-level they have been restricted. There is nothing we/the plugin can do about this. You would have to pick it up with your server-admin.

    My advise is to just try option 1 and create a product feed.

    Thanks, creating a feed did the trick. Epic service as always. This is one license I shall pay for happily. Thanks again
