I need to create CSV file of my products. However when exporting the file comes out totally messed up and it’s unusable in other programs to import my items.. Why so and how to fix this issue?

Please see the screenshot of the exported CSV table: https://ibb.co/LCFvJb0

The way I exported: Products > All Products > Export. I do not use any plugins for exporting. Also previously all products have been added to the store manually, one by one, not via importing them with CSV file.

    Hi @browmaniac,

From the screenshot you’ve shared, it looks like there might be an issue with the delimiter in your CSV file. CSV files use a comma (,) as a delimiter to separate fields, but sometimes other characters like semicolons (;) or tabs can cause issues when importing the file in other programs.

To fix this, you can try opening your CSV file in a text editor like Notepad or TextEdit, and replace all semicolons (;) with commas (,). Then, save the file and try importing it again.

If you’re still having trouble, you may consider using the WooCommerce Product CSV Import Suite or Import Export Suite for WooCommerce plugin, which is a tool specifically designed to import and export WooCommerce products. It’s more robust and reliable than the built-in export feature and can handle a larger amount of data.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
