Product description gallery image size problem

    hello all. I am specifically talking about the gallery which you can create from the add media button above the product description area, not the product gallery section a little ways below.

    this function allows you to set the column and image size parameters but even when I set image to full size and column to one it remains as if the setting is set to column at 3 and image size at small. Please advise any way to fix this?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that you’re trying to change the image size to full and the column to one, but it seems to stay at the default settings (small image size and three columns) when clicking the Add Media under Products, correct?

    I replicated the scenario on my personal site running on the default Storefront theme, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. As you can see on the front and back-end, the image shows its full size only in one column.

    For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

    If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

    If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    technically i can use desktop or laptop to multi select images with ctrl button but you cannot do this on a smartphone or tablet as there is no physical keyboard. Is there a code snippet that can fix this easily? Thx

    You are correct here. As some functions need to be done using a computer since these are unavailable when done on mobile.
