Product Custome ordering

I work for an industry where 90% of our products are costume made or at least have variation of options that change the price. For this reason, the company has not really entered the “order online” age. I’m trying to get it up to speed but a simply “buy now” won’t cut it with this much customization.

I want to build a tool that allows customers to log in and see our list of products, click “next” and see the options for those product, click “next” and add their in their own words any further customization (it is all built on site so we can do anything), click next and see their price then click “submit request”. It will then send us an e-mail with what customer wants what product. I think it would be nice to have it in a light box so that “next” does not bring it to a new page.

Is there any plugin that will do any of this? I am having trouble finding anything that would work. I would rather install or buy a plugin so that don’t have to build it from the ground up. Plugins are nice because people other than myself can edit them with relative ease.
