Product comparison: cannot deselect products for comparison

    The comparison JavaScript seems to not be working when I click a product for the second time to deselect it from the comparison. E.g.:

      I click products 1, 2, 3 and 4 for comparison.
      I click products 3 and 4 again.
    • Expected behavior: only products 1 and 2 are shown next to the COMPARE button and in the comparison screen.
    • Actual behavior: products 1, 2, 3 and 4 are next to the COMPARE button and in the comparison screen.

    I remember this feature was working fine a few months ago, but I’m not sure if the issue began after the recent updates.

    Thanks for any pointers on how to solve this.

    What version of the Product Catalogue are you using?

    If you are uncertain, you can see the version by going to the WordPress plugins page, and scrolling down to the “Product Catalog” listing.

    I’m currently on version 4.4.6, just updated it the other day.

    Hi coisosonthego,

    The compare function seems to be working correctly on the current version, could you please try adding the catalog shortcode to a test page without using any page builders or visual composers and see if that makes a difference?
    Also, if you’re using JavaScript minification as part of caching functions, could you try disabling that momentarily to see if that makes a difference?

    Your advice helped me realize another plug-in was loading a custom jQuery version. Loading the default version solved the issue.
