Product Category Page not displaying menu any more

    This page is no longer displaying the product category menu.

    I am not sure what happened.

    A lot of updating has happened and the backup has not been down for a while so I am really hoping someone can help.

    The product category was showing and if we switch to Storefront it still shows.

    Is someone able to tell me what I need to do to make it show again?

    Is it possible for you to share a screenshot showing how does the page should look like?

    Apart from that, I noticed that your site is not using the latest version of the Astra theme. Update it to the latest version and see if it solves the issue.

    Tip: having a proper backup before doing any update is always a good practice. Just in case.

    Herman,

    As it has disappears I cannot do so.
    However, it is a vertical list of Product Categories. It starts even with the big bold “3d effects”

    It looks like you have a custom CSS that makes the product category title big. Or it inherits from the Elementor Global Settings. Refer to this screenshot.

    Thank you for your input.

    The product category page is not Elementor but standard WordPress. I have also removed all Custom CSS to test your thesis.

    It made no difference. Whilst it removed the formatting for the Header as you suggest. It is the column that used to appear to the left that had a heading for Product Category and items for each Product Category.

    The custom CSS I pointed in my previous reply, yes it’s related to the header formatting (product category title). And regarding the column used to appear to the left, it’s Sidebar. Sorry, I just get you now.

    You don’t have it anything there because there’s no widget you add on the respective Sidebar. You can just add the WooCommerce Product Categories widget to the WooCommerce Sidebar. Refer to this screenshot.

    Any idea what would have made it disappear in the first place?

    I am not sure how it got disappeared as updating the theme will keep the widget stay as they were. If you have ever switched the theme, then it could be the cause.
