product category doesn’t show

Hello, I just created a new category (with one for the moment subcategory) and it doesn’t show on the dropdown menu. I am attaching an image to see exactly what is wrong. Also I have set the depth to 5. I also have an issue the customize sents a 500error. I updated today the woocommerce to the latest update. Could that be the issue?
