When a product category has a long description, the width of the column makes the page difficult to use unless you have an ultra-wide monitor. Please see screenshot below for example.

    Hello @stylise,

    Thank you for reaching out!

It’s a bit challenging to fit a long description with the current page layout, however, from my end, it’s not that bad. :?)

Have you tried disabling some screen options? I see a few columns that are not coming from WooCommerce.

Hi @babylon1999, thanks for your reply.

If I get rid of unused columns, it is a little better, but overall not optimal. The “slug” column has the same width as description which isn’t logical, and the “name” column is nearly as big, which it doesn’t seem like it would need to be, even if you have a long category name.

Overall it’s not a big issue, but could certainly use improvement.

    Hi there

Yes, that’s a good point! You could use a plugin like Admin Columns to reduce the column width. If you’d like to suggest this as an inbuilt feature in future WooCommerce versions, you could submit a new feature request in GitHub.

I’m going to close the thread now. If you have any further questions, I recommend creating a new topic.

    Cheers!
