Product Categories Box in ‘Product > Add Product’ vs ‘Appearance > Menu’

  • I have run into this annoying problem while creating menus for my Woocommerce. I have close to 300 subcategories and I need to make dropdown menu for the same. Now when I see the Product Categories box (on checking it from Screen Options) in Appearance > Menus I get unordered list of Product Categories I created with no hierarchy making it close to impossible to create the menu system. While the Product Categories box as seen Product > Add Product is showing product categories right as entered and as I need it.

    Is there a fix for it, or if I can edit the Product Category column in Menus page same as that on Add Product page.Inserting Image to show the differences.
