Product Catalogue Advice

Hi,

I’m looking at creating a kind of online catalogue which will feature around 100 items.
This site may in the future be used to sell the actual products. At the moment all the users would be able to do is view the products and request a quote or add to a list and then request a quote for all the products selected. simple right?!

I was thinking to use jigoshop with a couple of extensions,

I think this would give me all the functionality i need and would make it easy to allow purchases in the future.

My question is does this seem like a good solution? should I even be using wordpress? Is there a CMS better suited to this task? has anyone had experience with jigoshop or the two extensions i mentioned?
