Product Catalog shows normal prices instead of sale prices

  • Hello,

    I just tried generating product feed from this plugin.

    The XML file already contains g:price and g:sale_price.

    But on Facebook Product Catalog, only normal prices are shown for single products.
    For variation products, also normal prices are shown except the default variation have one extra card with the sale price.

    For example,

    Product A is a single product sold at $70 normally but now on sale for $40.
    Facebook Catalog has Product A at $70.

    Product B is a variable product and there are Red and Blue colors Red being the default variation. Product B is sold at $100 normally but now on sale for $50.
    Facebook Catalog has
    1. Product B Red at $50
    2. Product B Red at $100
    3. Product B Blue at $100

    What’s wrong here?, how can I solve this issue?

    Also, Facebook gives me an error such as content_type and content_ids missing for “Purchase” and “AddToCart” events. Doesn’t Pixel Caffeine automatically pass those params to Facebook?

    Hi,

    sorry for the large delay on my response, I wasn’t able to check the forum in this period, thanks for your patience.

    About your request, make sure that the product feed is refreshed also into the product catalog of your business account, just hit on “Refresh” button.

    Then, the sale price doesn’t appear immediately in the product grid of the business manager interface, you need to go inside each product and see in the details, see an example here: https://gifyu.com/image/xN7O
