Hi, I have created a little test page with just a title and a block, selecting products by attribute using V1.40 of the block plugin.

In edit mode, I see the correct products, with the selected product attribute value. When I save the page and open it in the browser, I get a message “No products were found matching your selection.”.

PS: The other blocks (e.g. product by category) seem to work just fine.

@awilmsmeier, hmm that is interesting – thanks for reporting the issue. Could you provide me with a little more detail to see if I can reproduce the bug?

    – Which version of WooCommerce and WordPress
    – What are the attributes you are using in the block?

Maybe a screnshot of the editor and the output on the front-end would be nice too.

Hi, I am using WordPress 5.0.3 and WooCommerce 3.5.4 with the latest Blocks plugin (1.4.0). Not sure how I can upload an attachment on the support page, can you please advise?
    Best regards,
    Andreas

Did some more testing. Seems like it works with other attributes and other attribute values, just not the specific one I selected. Tried changing it (shorter slug, shorter text), but did not help. Not sure what else I can try?

Interesting, thanks for the screenshots. Curious – the attributes that are working for you, are they single words? Just trying to see if maybe the space in the name of the screenshot you sent of the editor might be part of what is happening.

Tried that, but other with blanks seemed to work, also tried to shorten it from 19 characters to less than 10) – did not make a difference…
Wasn’t able to find any pattern, unfortunately

    Hi @awilmsmeier,

If you are still having the issue please let us know. Some more options you can try:

    – putting underscores where the spaces are
    – deleting and recreating the attribute
    – testing on a different page

If these do not work, let me know the attribute value and I will attempt to duplicate on my side. I hope to hear back from you soon!

    Hi,
    The issue is still there…
    – it works for all other attributes
    – it works when I create the same attribute value with an “_” (as expected)
    – it does not work when I just use the same selection on a different page
    – it does work when I create a new attribute with the same term

I can give you access to our sandbox site, if that helps?

In the meantime, I have reverted back to good old short codes – for two reasons:
    1) this bug
    2) there is no pagination is your Blocks – I had created a feature request, but for some reason you seem to have decided that you don’t want to offer that in blocks – is there a change you would reconsider that?
    Best regards,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

Sorry for the delay here. Are you still up for some testing? If yes, can you walk me through the steps to reproduce this.
I will try and mimic your steps.

    1. Create attribute with the name…and so on.

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Kind regards,

Sorry, was on vacation, the issue is still there, but in my test, I have been unable to reproduce (other than the attribute where the error occurs). So from my experience as a developer, debugging would be the way to go. Happy to support with that or with more targeted testing. Let me know how to proceed from here.
    Best regards,
    Andreas
