Product available but does not allow purchase

This is the error i got ‘There are some issues with the items in your cart. Please go back to the cart page and resolve these issues before checking out.’

I have two questions, if a customers adds a product to cart and lets it sits in the card does that decrease the product count even if its just sitting in the cart?

How about ‘Pending Payment’ orders do those take from product count?

No, they do not count for the stock.

Yes, they count for the stock.

Product available but does not allow purchase. Backend shows I have 80 quantity in stock frontend wont allow me to check out says something like “Product is out of stock please remove to continue”

Make sure that the product visibility is Public and not Private or something else. Also, hit Save again on the product to make sure that the stock is up to date.
