Product availability based on pre-defined conditions

I am building a custom store for parents that may have two or more children. Each child may be in a different school grade, and products are unique to each grade.

Is there a plugin or way to have the parent create a new order selecting the grade of the child first, and then be shown the products available for that order?

I’m essentially looking to restrict products based on grade level, and only allow a single order to be generated per grade/child.

Any suggestions for a solution or possible direction to investigate is greatly appreciated!
