    Hello,

So I decided to create this post as it seems to be absolutely no information in regards to this.

If you look into the link I have added to this post, you will see a product with 5400 variations. Can you please explain me how I am supposed to increase the price of specific attribute or the product itself?

Why is there so many variations? Why cant you just create attribute prices and not variation prices? Why cant a product just have a specific price, and then the price would be adjusted by selected attribute which has its own price? Why is there all these endless variations? Is there a possibility to develop something that would end this? I am literally not prepared to spend a week editing 1 product when I have another 50 products to edit and each have around 5000-10000 variations. This is so un-optimised…

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Unfortunately the standard variations functionality is not really very easy to use if you have lots of options! The ability to have attributes adding to the product base price would be so much easier!!

I use this: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-advanced-bulk-edit/8011417 it is much better for editing variable products than the built in product p.age.

Another option would be to export the products and edit prices in a spreadsheet before re-importing the changes.

You could also not use attributes/variations at all and instead use one of the many ‘product option’ type plugins – I use https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-extra-product-options/7908619

    Hi @tribit ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you would like to know if there is a way to add prices to attributes rather than variations, is this correct?

Each variation represents a unique combination of attributes such as size, color, material, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to create individual variations to accurately reflect the different options available to customers.

You could look at the Bulk Edit Products, Prices, and Attributes extension which works for simple, variable & external products. This extension allows you to bulk edit/update your products rather than individually adding/updating prices.

WooCommerce.com offers a 30-day refund policy which you can take advantage of, allowing you to test the extension, and make sure that it is what you are looking for.

Should you have any pre-sales related questions, kindly contact us directly at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You will need to create an account if you do not have one already.

    Hope this helps!
