I have a strange issue that is happening in every theme, and I already deactivate all plugins to see if there was some conflict. Basically I’m using MONTSERRAT font for product titles. The montserrat font displays fine in the home page, and in the single product page, but does not work in the product archive.

The interesting thing is that the font IS WORKING. I have comic sans (for testing purposes) applied to the body tag. So when I go to the INSPECT, I uncheck the font MONTSERRAT and it goes back to the default font (comic sans). That tells me that the MONTSERRAT font is being applied, but for whatever reason it doesnt look like montserrat. It looks like a serif font, maybe times new roman.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

  • Looking at Inspect for the page, I see that Times New Roman is the Rendered font, instead of Montserrat. I’m guessing perhaps your theme is overriding any styles you are applying to the product template. Themes do tend to take control over some of the WooCommerce styling. Check your theme’s options in Customizer to see if there is an option there to solve that. Or possibly you have some custom CSS somewhere that is overriding it.

Since I assume you are using Elementor Pro, if you need further assistance, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com. www.remarpro.com rules state that commercial products are not supported here.

Thank you for your reply. I sent them an email already.
My theme fonts are all set to default. Inside the customizer I have a css/js tab which is where I’m writing my custom css, so I doubt I have other custom css files somewhere else.
Its just strange that the montserrat font gets rendered to all product titles other than the product archive page. Cant wrap my head around that.
