• Hello, I just installed the plugin and started the configuration. And in my first test, I noticed that when I added the product to the cart, something was going wrong, initially, I was using the Ajax add to cart from https://quadlayers.com. When I inspect the Network panel I saw that the ajax call was getting an error. I started to find error changing the theme to Storefront, and the something happened. I also try to find a new plugin and did one more test using the WPC Ajax Add to Cart for WooCommerce plugin but the same thing happened again.

I recorded a video doing this last test.

And here is my Woocommerce status.

I don’t know for sure, but I think that both plugins aren’t handling well the data from the product add-on, but I didn’t investigate.

    Any help is welcome.

    Thanks!

Thanks for sharing all the great information on troubleshooting the issue.

Unfortunately, for Ajax compatibility with Product Add-ons to function properly, the specific Ajax plugin or Theme Ajax functionality would need to be reviewed and compatibility developed between the two plugins.

We are starting to review select Ajax cart functions from popular themes and in the future will review plugins as well, based upon user popularity and requests. Hopefully in future releases we can provide more Ajax compatibility support with the plugin by Quadlayers, but at this time, you will find most Ajax support features will not handle Product Add-ons well without the compatibility support being developed.

If you are interested, we are also always interested in contributors to Product Add-ons, if you’d like to evaluate and develop the compatibility with Ajax for the Quadlayers plugin for the community to enjoy.

Hi! Thanks for the response! I’m glad that you’re looking to integrate with themes and plugin. I’m actually not a “real” programmer, if I was I would help for sure, but now I’ll try to find another plugin or a combination of plugins to achieve the result I need.

I solved it by disabling the ajax version of the cart

Hello, I have the same ajax problem. The plugin does the calculation correctly in the product page but when you buy the product, it doesn’t add extra fields in the basket and checkout.

I think this is some conflict with the template. If you can help me find out please. I leave you the link of the template: https://themeforest.net/item/lagar-wine-shop-wordpress/28922640

I wait for your answer, a greeting and thank you very much.

Sorry, we won’t be able to perform any compatibility testing with Paid themes. If the Theme is available on www.remarpro.com, as open source. We’d be happy to review if Ajax compatibility can be supported, but we are unable to review any Paid themes as we don’t have access to source code.
