    Hi, I am new to woocommerce and have completed some test transactions. I have woocommerce payments and credit card payments enabled.

    If I try to process a refund on a credit card payment, when I click on the refund button once inside the order, where it says ‘refund amount’, I am able to click on the box, making it blue around the edge, but am then unable to input a number.

    If I go under ‘order status’ and change the status to refunded, I can then update the page, and in the order notes on the right hand side it says ‘order staus set to refunded. To return funds to the customer you will need to issue a refund through your payment gateway’.

    Has this actually issued a refund? My gateway I thought was either woocommerce payments or stripe, but I cant see how to do anything more to issue a refund. Also, how do I choose how much to refund?!

    Any help gratefully appreciated!

    I understand that you would like to process a refund.

    Has this actually issued a refund?

    You would like to check your Payment gateway, IMHO it looks like it is not refunded yet.

    Just to be sure if we are on the same page, you can process a refund inside the orders page, select the order, click on refund, and add the quantity to the refund, please check this screenshot below:
