In my Woocommerce settings, I have the New Order email come to our sales email account to we don’t overlook new sales.

Then I have the Processing Order go to the customer. Isn’t this how it should work? And, when a customer creates an order, they should instantly get an email since the Processing Order should be active.

But, for some reason, we are getting the New Order emails but the customer is not getting any emails for the order until we manually send or update them. I have to go into the order and choose “Email invoice / order details to Customer” under actions.

I want this to be automated.

    What am I overlooking here?

    Thanks!
    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

Excellent name, first off. Following up on the email issue, it’s a silly question but is the Processing order email enabled? A purple check mark on the left of the Email column would mean it is enabled.

I just want to double check!

From there could you install a plugin like Email Log and then place a test order to see if your site (Woo) is really attempting to send out the email. If it does show up in the log then we can go from there. ??
