First of all, we recommend updating all your software, including WooCommerce core, and matching it with the WC database version.

Before updating, you’d want to make sure you have a full backup in place of your site and database. You could consider using a service like Jetpack or installing a plugin like UpdraftPlus. If something goes wrong, it’s nice to know that you can restore your site to the previous state.

How do I update the software?

Hi @convospanish!

If you want to update WooCommerce, you can do it by going to Plugins → Installed plugins, searching the WooCommerce plugin, and then clicking the update now option.

To update the WooCommerce Database, you can do it from WooCommerce → Status → Tools → Update database.

Before making any updates, always be sure you have a good backup of your site and database in place so that if something goes wrong, you can restore your site to a functioning state.
