    Hi,

I would like to find out if following scenario is possible with Woocommerce.

The product would work as binary file processor:

    1. user is expected to upload his/her files
    2. the files gets processed by external service
    3. if processing went fine (and the final files are available on the storage) the user is expected to pay
    4. after the payment the user is able to download his/her goods

    Does woocommerce suppor such integration?

    Regards.

  • Hey there, @kuebk! Thanks for contacting us.

While the process you described is not something you can do with WooCommerce core, you might be able to find third-party plugins that can help you with that.

You can search for plugins on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

Depending on how exactly you set this up, you might also need custom code.

We can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy, but we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources.

You can visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there too.

I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in and help you out further.

    Have a wonderful day!
