I’ve installed WooCommerce and have started a basic store – my site is for a class reunion and the only two items that will be available are reunion tickets and reservations for a golf outing. I’ve added a 3rd “widget” item for testing purposes.

When I add an items to the card and click on “Proceed to Checkout”, the button just keeps scrolling. I’ve disabled all widgets thinking that there may be a conflict, but it didn’t help.

At this point I’m at a loss as to what might be causing this. I’m not a coder, I’m just developing this page a favor to my fellow classmates who are planning this reunion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ron Bean

    Hi @ron1224

It sounds like you might be experiencing a conflict with either your theme or one of your plugins. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

If this makes no difference, then please follow our detailed guide here: https://woocommerce.com/document/endless-loadingspinner-on-the-checkout-page/

Furthermore, I recommend checking out the WooCommerce Box Office or WooCommerce Bookings plugins. These plugins allow you to sell tickets for your next event, concert, function, fundraiser, or conference directly on your site.

I hope that helps! Let me know once you have done a conflict test!

Hello @ron1224 why are you using a index.php in the slug? That’s very abnormal here and unnecessary. Not to mention horrible for SEO.
