    Hi All,
I’m WordPress beginner and I’ve build my site with some help from YT tutorials and basic knowledge.

I use OceanWP theme for woocommerce sites (Cart/Checkout etc) and elementor for more customized pages.

The issue I’m struggling with is the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button (screenshot below)

    https://snipboard.io/9OVknR.jpg

I guess I should be able to edit this button in OceapWP theme customization (Customize>General Options>Theme Buttons), but every time I change these settings – no actual changes in the cart and button itself.
As I mentioned – I’m a beginner, but it seems like there is a rule/setting somewhere outside OceanWP which is overwriting button style.

    Here’s the cart direction: https://pieksa.art/cart/

The page is not fully published yet, but feel free to add any product to cart and then you’ll be able to see the ‘Proceed to Checkout’ button.

Looking for help! Much appreciated ??

  • Hello @pieksa,

    Thank you for reaching out,

I see you are using the cart and checkout blocks on the pages. To solve it, please open the cart’s edit page, and instead of using the block, use the cart shortcode: https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
It is [woocommerce_cart], and do the same for the checkout [woocommerce_checkout].

Then, the styling will be back.
Next, you can navigate to WP Dashboard > Appearance > WooCommerce > Advanced Styling to set more styling:

    I hope it helps.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the above steps.
    Best Regards

    hi @skalanter!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I replaced both cart and checkout with shortcode elements and now I can edit them with OceanWP appearance settings.
    Much appreciated ??

*one note for future readers – I couldn’t see the shortcode elements inserted directly from ‘edit’ view of Cart or Checkout page (no idea why), but I was able to do so through Elementor edit ??

    You’re welcome.
    I’m glad we could help.
