Problems wp super cache after upgrading to version 1.5.4 and 1.5.5

Hi, I have some problems with the wp super cache plugin, the problems started after upgrading to version 1.5.4, a few days later came the version 1.5.5 that in theory fixed the errors of the previous version, but it still gives me the same mistake
I get the following message:
WP Super Cache must be configured. Go to the administration page to activate and configure the plugin.
I configure and I get the following:
Error: The cache directory () did not exist and could not be created by the web server. Check the permissions.
I can not continue … solve the problems described and try again.I reinstalled it and did the right test, everything works fine, but the next day or two days happens the same and the message, How can I solve it?

I’ve applied chmod 400 to wp-cache-config.php to make it read-only, until a solution is found.
