Problems with WP Overwriting Custom .htaccess File

  • I have added some code to my .htaccess file, but whenever I publish a page, WordPress overwrites the .htaccess file and the code I added (for a redirect from an old blogger blog to new wordpress blog) is lost. Any idea how to fix this?
