    Problem is

    1) We can’t really use the WP Editor when adding products – it only works in Text mode, but Visual is not working. Our normal editor for pages is working fine. Please help so we can format product descriptions….

    2) For product specifications entered in the fields above the description, is it possible to add only ONE value? At the moment it automatically adds a new line for a feature each time we enter a value….

    Pls help,
    Thanks!!

  • Hi,

Please, see below answers to your questions:

    > Visual mode is not working _ could you please, provide us few more details regarding the issue? in the button for the tab mode not working, is it blank or do you receive any error while trying to use it. Please, be informed that the reason of the issue may be the conflict with some other plugin. Could you please, deactivate all the other plugins except catalog and check?

    > Automatically adding a new line _ Please, be informed that you can add only one value. The automatically added field will not be shown in the frontend. Please see here.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

Hi, as for the editor, it was the cforms plugin that mixed things up! So this is working now.

As for the automatically added new line…. is there a way to disable this? In code? It starts with one line and the description on the left side and as soon as you add a value the second line is very confusing ti which field the descriptions belongs since the description “jumps” to the middle.

    Thanks! ??

    Hi,

Please, note that unfortunately we are not doing the custom development.

Besides, in the case we change this in the code the change will not only be in your case particularly, but also for all other users.

    Thanks. Have a nice day.

Of course you can’t do it for all ?? – I was just hoping that you might give me a hint where I maybe can do it myself in the code? (which file etc.)
    Thanks!

    Hi,

You can find the corresponding file with the FTP by going to the wp-content/plugins/catalog/js/param_block.js , and for the category you should edit the following file wp-content/plugins/catalog/Categories.html.php.

    Thanks. Have a wonderful day.
