    Hi,
I have a problem wirth WP Bakery generated posts.
If I make a carousel with Smart Post show the body of the posts is not shown at all if I select “Excerpt” as Content Display Type; if I select “Full content” it displays all the post body content but with all the WP Bakery tags visible.
Is there something I can do to fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi @tslm

    Sorry for the delayed response!

After getting a support request from you, we tested it locally and found the same problem. Then we fixed the issue and released a new version 2.2.11. Please update to the latest version and let us know if it is fixed on your end.

We are eagerly waiting to know the result. Have a great day!

Thank you very much for helping us to improve the plugin.

    Hi Khalil,
thank you for the fix, but it’s not complete I think..
If I choose “Complete” for the content now it’s ok and it shows all the post content, without the WP Bakery tags but if I choose “Excerpt” it just continues to show nothing at all (of the content of course).

    Hi @tslm,

Apologies for the late reply. We have tested the latest version of the plugin after hearing from you once again. First, we created a post using WP Bakery including post title, image, description, and excerpt. Then we created a slider with the Smart Post Show and select full content and works fine and then we set excerpt and it is shown in the front-end as well.

To further experiment we added WP bakery tags to the post content and content shown properly but the problem happens when I add WP Bakery tags to the post excerpt. I found that excerpt doesn’t render any code. It is the WordPress default behavior.

Your understanding would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,
it is exactly what happens on my side.
So, only to understand well, there’s nothing at all you can do to fix it, right?
