Problems with wp-admin page

  • Hi everybody,

    For some time I’m having trouble with loging into my website:
    https://www.mydentist.rs/wp-admin or https://www.mydentist.rs/wp-login

    At first it showed me
    "Warning: include(./wp-admin/includes/class-wp-admin-list-table.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/michelsanti/gestionsuisse.com/wp-admin/index.php on line 8...

    After reading some topics with similiar problem I tried these things:
    – I’ve replaced /wp-admin/index.php with other copy,
    – I’ve copied every file via FTP to desktop, delete everything except WP-content folder and wp-copnfig.php and copied back files on server. After this action log-in panel went blank,
    – I’ve tried to reset all plugins via FTP. Since RevSlider could be source of my problems, I followed steps in this link, but with no success.
    – I also tried changing my .htaccess file. My new file looks like this:

    At this point wp-admin page is still blank, but wp-login page is showing 404 (Page Not Found) Error.
    – I’ve tried debugging and the only change is that wp-admin page is now showing error 500.

    Can someone please, please help me???

    Internal server errors (error 500) are often caused by plugin or theme function conflicts, so if you have access to your admin panel, try deactivating all plugins. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    If that does not resolve the issue, it’s possible that a .htaccess rule could be the source of the problem. To check for this, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, and rename the .htaccess file. If you can’t find a .htaccess file, make sure that you have set your SFTP or FTP client to view invisible files.

    If you weren’t able to resolve the issue by either resetting your plugins and theme or renaming your .htaccess file, we may be able to help, but we’ll need a more detailed error message. Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.

    Thank you for the reply. I’m really starting to panic (not to mention that now site is also out of function).

    I’ve tried steps mentioned above (plugins, theme and .htaccess) but with no success.

    I’ve generated new error log and I’m waiting now. They have show up, but they are all blank, so I’ll wait recommended 24h.

    Will be back with them ASAP.

    P.S. Sever has also created “Access logs” folder. Do you need files from that folder as well?

    Use FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required). Navigate to /wp-content/themes/doctor and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name:
    /wp-content/themes/doctor-old

    Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

    Still no success. I’ve renamed default theme folder as instructed. After there was no result, I’ve renamed it back and deleted every other theme folder. Still, no result.

    I haven’t mentioned one fact and I don’t know does it have some influence or not. Beside this wp install on mydentist.rs I have 2 more wp installs (with separate websites) on mydentist.rs/de and mydentist.rs/es. I have to mention that I don’t have problems with those wp-admin panels.

    Can anyone help me???

    I have tried resetting WP installation on my server, but the problem remained.

    I had the same issue. I contacted the website host technical support who changed the account to PHP 5.6 from PHP 5.4 and the site is working fine now.
