Problems with WP Admin.

  • I recently updated my wordpress from 3.0.3 to 3.0.4 and since then I’ve been having several problems with WP Admin, first of I’ve noticed I can not use Quick Edit to edit a post, if I click on Quick Edit nothing happens.

    Also if I try and add tags using Edit, the Add button does nothing.

    Secondly in the Dashboard I’ve noticed that I cant use the (drop down arrows) to expand or contract any of the features, such as Appearance, Posts, Plugins, so on and so forth. If I click on the feature it will open.

    Tried re-installing 3.0.4 but still having issues.

    Try (if you already have not tried):

    -deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit.

    -switching to the default theme (“twentyten”) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.
