    Hello,

I installed Hustle a few days ago and I’m having a few problems with the plugin.

Firstly, the email addresses don’t show up in Mailchimp. I’ve tried configuring it again, that didn’t help.

Secondly, the pop-up shows up on every page of my website, while it’s only suppossed to show up on my blog.

Lastly, I don’t seem to be able to control the behavior. For example: I don’t want people to be bothered by the pop-up when they’ve already subscribed or clicked away.

Hoping to get some help and insights here. Thanks in advance!

    Hello there @jojan

Firstly, the email addresses don’t show up in Mailchimp. I’ve tried configuring it again, that didn’t help.

Have you checked if there’s a double opt-in that does that?
If this isn’t the case, please make sure that form fields in Hustle are the same as in the MailChimp list that you selected.
Some screenshots of both of these ends could also be helpful in order to troubleshoot this.

Secondly, the pop-up shows up on every page of my website, while it’s only suppossed to show up on my blog.

Can you please let me know, is the blog page set as homepage (Latest posts) or is it in another URL (like https://example.com/blog/)?
Also, a screenshot of the current display conditions would be helpful.

Lastly, I don’t seem to be able to control the behavior. For example: I don’t want people to be bothered by the pop-up when they’ve already subscribed or clicked away.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to know if the current user is subscribed to the MailChimp list. What you can do is to select to hide the popup for a specific period if the user has closed it:

    Hello @wpmudev-support6,

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out.

    Emailadresses
So it turned out I had a double opt-in. I removed it and it works perfectly now!

    Visibility
The blog page isn’t set as homepage, it is another url. I’ve made a screenshot of the settings: https://monosnap.com/file/JvHq4MP2TseUG2U7MIOXmw4Xa0i6Yk.

    Behavior
Thanks for your explanation. The popup is now hidden for a specific period.

    Warm regards,
    Johan

    Hi @jojan,

Are you looking to show your popup only on blog page and posts, or just on blog page?
Try setting up your conditions and see if that does the trick for you:

    Hi Dimitri,

    Sorry for not replying earlier.

It turns out that te emailaddresses still don’t show in Mailchimp. I’ve removed the double opt-in and after that I thought it worked, but I see now that it doesn’t. Is there anything else I can do?

    With kind regards,

    Hello @jojan ,

I checked your site and I don’t see any popups there. Can you maybe create a test page with that popup so we can test it and see what could be wrong there?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Dear Kasia,

Thanks for getting back at me. The popup doesn’t show on every page, just on my blog. You can find it at https://hartenzielcoaching.nl/jezelf-niet-verliezen-in-een-relatie/ for example.

    Kind regards,
    Jojan

    Hello @jojan

    I trust you’re doing well!

I’ve just tested the MailChimp integration on my end, a test email was successfully submitted to a list. Please see if the MailChimp list has at least one email added. If not, please add a dummy email.

If the above solution will not work, please disconnect the MailChimp integration, save the changes and then reconnect the MailChimp API again.

Just in case, if the is more than one plugin that integrated with Mailchimp on your site, please try deactivating it and see if this will resolve the issue.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,

    Hello Nastia,

    Thank you for your reply.

The Mailchimp list already has emails added, so that can’t be the problem.

I’ve tried disconnecting en reconnecting the Mailchimp integration, that didn’t work.

I do use one other plugin that is integrated with Mailchimp, but I’d rather not deactivate it because I do really use it.

    Kind regards,
    Jojan

    Hi Jojan,

If the other plugin uses a similar type of connection to Mailchimp then this could cause issues with Hustle and in order to see if this is indeed the case can you please try deactivating it and if the issue is gone let us know which plugin is in question so we can check this further on our end.

    Cheers,

    Hi Predrag,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have tried deactivating the other plugin but that didn’t work. However, I did find this information: https://monosnap.com/file/cerwCpCpdnU5zCRYz2GM3PoktsLoh9. Any idea how to fix this?

    Hello,

I just want to let you know I’m going on vacations and won’t read a response in the next couple of weeks. So please don’t close the ticket ??

    With kind regards,
    Jojan

    Hello @jojan,

I apologize for the delayed reply.

Please see are there any opt-in Form Fields that are not in a List in a Mailchimp’s end? Is there a field set as required on a Mailchimo end and these are not set as required in an opt-in?

Would you please export the hustle optin, see that screenshot below:
    https://monosnap.com/file/2ZgkGp3bIZnmR2Dtsth9om55DO4JFk

Upload the export file to Google Drive or DropBox and share a download link with us, so we would test this opt-on in our end.

    Please advise,

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi Nastia,

Thanks for your message. I’ve just got back from vacations, hence the delayed reply on my end.

I’ve exported the Hustle option, see: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r7jxjqr8m2ray11/AACr-gJ7kIOCrnybj-U23F-wa?dl=0

Also, I noticed the popup shows up on every page of my website, instead of just on my blogpages as I’ve configured it.

    With kind regards,
    Jojanneke

    Hello @jojan

    Hope you’re doing well!

I apologize for late reply. I’ve tested the form you’ve uploaded and could not replicate this issue. An email was sent to the MailChimp list on my end.

Please create a new list in MailChimp and add this new list in the opt-in, to make sure there is no issue with a current selected list and try again.

Also, I noticed the popup shows up on every page of my website, instead of just on my blog page as I’ve configured it.

I’m afraid I can’t reproduce it on your site. When visiting your site from my end, an opt0in shows up on post pages, and nowhere else. Would you please clear your browser from cookies and see if the issue will be resolved?

    Please advise,

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
