Problems with Version 3.0.0

    I had to rollback this version update, Frank.

    It broke Ninja Forms and Fontawsone icons on all my sites. I didn’t check for any other issues, but a rollback fixed these two issues.

    So I think there might be a few pesky bugs in this version.

    Do you have a non-production (or a live not-too-important) site where you could leave things broken for me to investigate @bobsled ?

    Okay. I’ve sent you access by email, Frank. You’ll need to remove the block from the update options to update to 3.0.0.

    The issue turned out to be with AO30 now also minfying inline JS which in your case indeed caused issues. Enabling “keep comments in HTML” also disables the “minify inline CSS/ JS” logic, which made things run OK again.

    Let me know if that also fixes things for you on your other websites. In the meantime I’ll think about how to make this a bit more failsafe .. ??

    Additional issue identified by bobsled; fontawesome broke, due to a regression in how CSS files are @import-ed.

    I’m working on a fix which will be in AO 3.0.1, but as workaround one can disable “aggregate CSS” until the update is out.

    anyone having similar issues; you can try 3.0.1-beta by

    1. downloading https://github.com/futtta/autoptimize/archive/refs/heads/beta.zip
    2. install it by going to plugins -> new -> upload to upload the zip from (1)
    3. deactivate Autoptimize 3.0.0
    4. enable Autoptimze 3.0.1-beta-0

    and let me know if that fixes the problems ??

    3.0.1 was just released after confirmation from bobsled and Matt (who contacted me via mail) that the beta fixed their issues. thanks for the help guys!
