Problems with user roles and member profiles

    I’m new to WordPress and UM, and I’m also using the User Meta Lite plugin to be able to create my own user account details. I’m currently trying to create a member profile page that includes some of the specific user details I need to be shown, both in the user’s profile and on a roster page that I’m hoping UM will generate.

    I’m having a terrible time with a few things. First, some of the user role details show up in some user profiles but not others. And secondly, under the profile photo I have the user’s name and for some reason that I can’t figure out UM is also showing the user role choices for that user. Here are two examples:

    See how under Louis’ name and under the “test user’s” nsme it shows either Yes or No, which corresponds to the user roles that are defined below (minor ground, minor tower, etc). Also notice that on the “test user”‘s page there’s a user role definition of “Is Mentor?” but that’s not showing on Louis’ page.

    This stuff is very confusing and frustrating. I just want a user profile page that shows what user roles each user has set or not set, and then have an automatically generated roster of my users. I’ve literally been struggling with this for 2 days.

    Could you please confirm that you’re using the latest version 2.1.15? Does your site have a caching plugin or server caching module?

    Thanks for the response. Yes, it’s version 2.1.15 and my site automatically updates everything. We do not use any caching as I found that they drastically slowed down my site, and even made it so it wouldn’t load sometimes. I turned off and uninstalled all caching stuff and it got much better. My host is Hostinger and site caching is turned off in my cpanel as well.

    I see that the links I originally posted aren’t valid anymore. It doesn’t appear that I can attach files to these posts? I have a couple of screenshots, if you can advise me a way to get them to you?

    I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking for? I’m not very well versed in WordPress. Where would I find that info?
