Problems with URL's

  • 1. I made to categories , news and reviews and whenever i have added these categoreies to my menu bar whenever i click any of the category link i am redirected to https://www.example.com/category/news and similarly https://www.example.com/category/reviews i do not want the word ‘category’ in my url.

    2. I am trying both bbpress as well as the symposium plugin for forum which one is better , with symposium i get my forum as a page so that i can customize the look and feel of it where as with bbpress does not show any page in the All Pages section.

    3. please tell me how can i get the shortcode for forum page in bbpress or how can i make the bbpress forum full width.
