Problems with Upgrading to 2.1.2

    I’m having all sorts of problems with blogolob.net after upgrading to 2.1

    I can’t add categories. When I try I get:

    WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘links_private’ in ‘field list’]
    INSERT INTO wp_categories (cat_ID, cat_name, category_nicename, category_description, category_parent, links_private, posts_private) VALUES (‘0’, ‘left’, ‘left’, ”, ‘0’, ‘0’, ‘0’)
    0

    Also, when I try to write a post it doesn’t appear.

    And, my sidebar information appears underneath instead of at the side.

    I’m getting desperate as I have to launch my blog very soon. Can anyone help, possibly starting with the DB error?

  • Seems like the upgrade may not have successfully completed.

    Try doing wp-admin/upgrade.php again.

    OK, I did that via my browser and it said that if I could see this it was done. So that’s good.

    Unfortunately, all the problems detailed above remain. Do you have any other ideas what might be happening?

    I’ve reinstalled WP and I think the problem is with my “Sidebar Widgets” plugin. I’ll try to download the latest version and reinstall.

    Nope. Newer version doesn’t solve the problem
