Problems with upgrade to 4.0

    There are quite a few issues that I am facing with the upgrade to 4.0. So many that I just backed it off. First, all of the navigation dots disappeared. I tried editing and resaving the slider but could not get them back. Also, the arrow navigation went away (not that I necessarily need or want both but now there is nothing). Further, the images are stretched in height and simply look weird. Finally, when testing the responsiveness on my computer, all of the content below the sliders moves down the page proportionally. That is, as the image gets smaller, the other content moves away from it leaving a huge white area. All of these things make my landing page pretty ugly. I tested on Chrome, IE and Firefox with the same results.

    I am using a Child of the Generate Press 1.3.45 theme.

    @cbrendlinger could we ask you kindly to update to the 4.0.1, the very latest version. Let us know if this fixes the issue. The problem is hidden in the migration of the database and seems some users with their specific hosting configurations face the mentioned errors of Slider. We keep an eye on every single issue and trying to help ASAP

    I upgraded to 4.0.1 and it had no effect. The same problems exist.
