Same here, it seems am not the only one with this issue!
Tried deactivating plugins several times, one by one. But as soon as I update to the new version the whole site gets messy.

If it’s not the theme itself, I’ll be appreciated to hear any other solutions, but not those which are about cleaning cache or deactivating plugins!

Had to restore the older version till either the designer or someone else comes up with a solution. Anyone?

I had to restore my site to an older version as well. But I have a child theme, and it didn’t like that at all. I have the standard parent stylesheet enqueue in functions.php …but it would no longer connect to parent stylesheet after the update. It literally crashed every single area of my site, menus, header, images, all styles, contact page/form (CF7?) google maps embed…everything. I sent him my child theme files so he could take a look, if he got them, I don’t know. I know he’s got his hands full right now, so I’ll just be patient for a while I think until he has time to take a look at them.

I had the same crash as you donnawpadmin, I mean during several hours work on this issue and research, I’ve faced different dysfunctional behaviors from this theme.

Several times white screen after update, also several crashes like you. Now am almost sure that the problem comes from the theme design itself!

I think you’re right, better to keep the old one till the designer/ designers come up with a solution.
But if in a few days they don’t do anything, then I’ll change the theme, as a web designer I’ve never been exhausted this much by any kind of themes.

@frankmartialarts if you also defined a child theme, usually, the main stylesheet of the theme must be updated to a new name. Previously was declared as 'maincss', new declaration is 'evolve-style'

bskno …he did my functions.php file for me. I’ll let you know if it works, and post the exact code changes/detail if it does. Here’s crossing my fingers…

Better Romik…but not there yet. Front/home page is gone, slider is all messed up, and contact page also disappeared. It was built with CF7 and shortcodes ultimate, and some text.

Am I missing settings somewhere? I tried to re-update the page …no help.

It’s about the simplest site I have in my laborious collection…

@frankmartialarts: …this is what he did with the functions.php file to get it to connect:
    ORIGINAL FILE: https://prntscr.com/k9qe6n
    NEW FILE: https://prntscr.com/k9qe68

And these are what the site “should” look like, if anyone has suggestions. Now that the stylesheet is working, I’ll tough it out to get the rest I guess…

    https://prntscr.com/k9qf07
    https://prntscr.com/k9qf05

    it’s a very small site…
