Problems with unsubscribes

  • We’ve been having problems with unsubs from our newsletters. Does the ‘allow user to sign up to this list’ option need to be selected in order to allow list recipients to unsubscribe?

    When I select this option, the unsubscribe from list option is now available. However, it makes the list “public” rather than “private”. What does that mean exactly? I want to be sure subscriber contact information (name and email address) isn’t publicly available.

    No users should be able to unsubscribe from any list

    However, it makes the list “public” rather than “private”. What does that mean exactly?
    This means the list shows in Widgets and from controls as an option for people to subscribe to. It in no way shows your contacts info publicly.

    If you are having issues with unsubscribe to a list. Can you provide me how you have them setup and i will test it on our servers.
