problems with tracking ssl-sites

    Hi,
    I′m using WP-Matomo Version 1.0.21 on my WP-multisite installation.
    It seems that the ssl-sites (for example https://www.earthlink.de) are not tracked on my self hosted matomo. Not-ssl-sites are tracked as expected.
    I have included both URLs (http and https).
    Can anybody please give me a hint, what to do?

    Did you check your browser’s console? Is the tracking code URL valid? (i.e., loading Matomo via https on a SSL-secured site and via http on an unsecured site?)

    Is the SSL certificate of your Matomo server valid?

    Embedding non-secured sources (like a JavaScript file) on a secured site are blocked by most browsers today.

    Otherwise, if WP-Matomo integrates the tracking code as expected, please contact the Matomo community to discuss possible solutions… I can only provide support on the WordPress plugin, not on Matomo itself.

    In fact it was a problem with the SSL certificate of my Matomo server.
