Problems with theme installation

  • Hello, I just installed wordpress on my webhosting account. It was an automatic install from godaddy.com. It installed with no problems. I added the theme package called WP President Day 1.0 from wordpressedthemed.com. Now, the links for logging in and registering have dissappeared from the front page. Also, from the admin settings, i added a widget for an RSS feed to appear on the left side. It functions correctly, but when I add the widget, the other catagory links dissappear from the left side. All I am wanting for now is a front page for my site that has the RSS feed, the place to post articles by myself and other approved contributors, and a few link buttons to switch to my forum and a few other pages. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get this?

    that theme then does not have such links in it.

    View the code of another one of your themes where it does have those links, and cut and paste that code into your President Day theme.
