Problems with the Widget being Visible

I took a look at your site and clicked through it. The cookie is set with the correct id’s. If you change posts, a new id is set, so this works fine.

Have you set a widget, with the correct settings? and is the ID in the shortcode corresponding to that widget?

I like to hear if this fix your problem.

One other note ?? the function load(); (which you call form the body) is not defined.

Thanks for the quick reply.

The shortcode and the widget set is the correct settings. It’s a little confusing from my point of view. I have quite a vast knowledge in PHP, CSS, HTML and JS so I understand how it should be displayed, as well as looking at the posts first to display the content needed from the coookies. I couldn’t get it to work.

Any more ideas? Could it be the function load affecting it?

Hi Owen,

The function load() is not the issue, because the js is working fine. Have you tried to add the widget to a sidebar, just to check if only the widget is working fine (without the shortcode)?

I ended up getting another developer to look at it and fix it. It is working now, but wasn’t too sure what was wrong, I’ll ask and revert back.
