Running s2Member in current version 151218 and it works so far. The only thing it does not protect are pictures. I’m using Wordpess photo album plus as gallery plugin.

I can protect a single page, but not the image adress itself. A sample:

This is the page address which is protected (Users with level 0, logged in users):

    https://www.example.com/photo-albums/wppaspec/oc1/lnen/cv0/ab1/pt7322

The page shows a image only when logged in, but using the image address i can see it although i’m not logged in. (Test using another browser which never logged in to the site prior) The address in that case is:

    https://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/wppa/7322.jpg?ver=2

In URI Restrictions there is a wppa set under requires level 0 or higher. Also wenn i try to set wppa to level 1 oder 2 it’s the same. A not logged in user can see it if he has the image address.

So, do you have a idea what can be wrong? If you need more information or access to the site just tell me.

Additional info: Also photo-albums was in the restrictions which is causing the page to be protected, wppa seemed not to be recognized although it is part of the URL.

So tried to protect the image itself inserting wp-content/uploads into the URI-Restrictions but that didn’t change anything.

You cannot protect media if you upload it in the traditional WP manner. You need to use the special s2Member folder designed for the purpose. See Download Options.

    Thanks for the fast info.
