Problems with the choice of categories in taxonomy

  • When I create a new list to join posts and select in taxonomies to filter them by categories, the categories that I have created are not shown and therefore it does not let me choose any and it does not work

    Hi there,

    Do the categories have posts associated with them?

    WP Show Posts older than 1.2.0 doesn’t display Categories that have no posts associated to them. This was changed in 1.2.0 but it’s still in Alpha version.

    THank you this answered my question as well. I have over 70 categories but only a few have posts in them so it totally makes sense that no empty categories are showing for the taxonomy category filter.

    @redlobato when you add a post to a category it will be available as a filter option just add any text post to it you will see it appears.

    And to clarify: This is only for versions older than 1.2.0, this was changed in 1.2.0(still in alpha).
