Problems with the backup

Can anybody from support to fix the problem I have with the backup.

Hi @juanmacampora. Sorry to hear about the issue that you’re having creating backups.

It didn’t allow me to backup my site. I do not know where the problem is.

Can you explain further what exactly is happening? For example, do you click “backup site now”, the backup starts, and then it hangs?

Hello, it start a backup in planned time but 10 seconds after it give a message error.

Hi @juanmacampora. We have released updates to both Total Upkeep and Total Upkeep Premium to resolve this issue. Can you please update both plugins and let us know if this resolves the issue?

I have tried it in automatic and manual mode but keeps not working.

Hi @juanmacampora, thanks for getting back to us with more details.

1. Is this your first time trying to get Total Upkeep to backup your WordPress website? Or, was it working previously but now it is no longer working?

2. When backup files are created, a log file is created too. I’m hoping we can get more details from the log file that show what may be happening. Can you share your latest failed log file here? You can find it by going to your Dashboard > Total Upkeep > Tools > Logs > and click on the latest “archive” log file. I’ve previously created a video to show how to find your log files. Hi @juanmacampora

In your log file, it says:

ZipArchive::close(): Write error: No space left on device

It looks like you don’t have enough disk space to write the backup file. Are you able to ask your web hosting provider for more info about this?

Let me check. I am doing backup in two different places. I am gonna tried to figure out where the problem is. I’ll back to you soon. Thanks for all your help and support.
