problems with the awb plug in

Although it says it’s compatible with Divi theme, it doesn’t seem to be or it’s not intuitive. The tutorial is vague, however, I followed it. I inserted a slider, went to the text box, inserted the code for the plug in – added some padding, and it still leaves about a 250px whitespace above and below the photo. I’m working with a 1920×1080 photo. The original was larger than that and it wasn’t working. Please help. I’m going on three days of trying to figure this out! Please send specifics – screenshots are not enough. Thank you.
